About Contact Charity Home Richard Ashcroft Dhampir Twin Powers Activate Cover designed by
Jeremy Khan Louisiana-born Richard Wayne Ashcraft lived in Australia and Singapore in the 1970s because his father was an oil engineer during the Oil Crisis. As a result, he was exposed to many cultures and their supernatural stories. As an adult back in America, he sold four prose stories to IF-X Comics. He also posted on Amazon Kindle his collection of short sci-fi tales called Superhuman Interest Stories.
His story, Dhampir Twin Powers Activate, was oddly inspired by both the Wonder Twins and the old horror movie Son of Dracula. He first saw Count Alucard turn into a bat and mist in Adelaide. So he gave the Dhampir Twins those abilities. The boy thinks he has the greater power since he can fly anywhere as a bat. But even though the girl can barely levitate as a mist, she knows how to make the best of a “weaker” power. Enjoy.
