About Contact Charity Home Michele M Potter Changes in the Weather Cover designed by Michele M Potter I grew up on a farm. You probably have a picture in your mind now of who I am. But, like most stereotypes, they’re inaccurate. I appreciate my farm background because it gives me a unique perspective on the world. Small family farms are becoming increasingly rare so I like to reminisce about the time when they prevailed. Weather is a huge part of farming; it framed this story, a family epic packed into three short sections. I still live in Midwest America, yes, where the tall corn grows. Deer, raccoons, coyotes, and turkeys roam through my yard. I love to travel and have been all over this North American continent; Great Britain is on my bucket list. My friend Jason Greenfield included a story of mine in his Bite Size Stories Volume I. But I have yet to publish my collection of short stories or to finish my novel. It’s summertime and the great outdoors draws me. My hope is that you grow to love the characters in this story as much as I did while creating them.
